My previous post introduced to you the concept of my latest project – studying the environmental impact of the tide on Britain’s coastline.  I was full of trepidation and panic when I scribed it.

In some ways I’m still panicking.  I have until the middle of May to get 3 degree essays submitted and they’re taking up a lot of time but I’m pleased with the progress of my practical assignment.

Wet felting has been a new media for me, and its taken me a while to master the subtleties of Nuno felting and cobweb felting – I’m getting there.  Interpreting the theme has been fun and seeing my photos come to life abstractly in felt is wonderful.

The picture below shows samples coming to life.  Does anyone else hang their art on their washing line?
