Its been a tough year for everyone. There have been many facets, some around health, some around and for me also, a year that’s stopped me progressing my creative business.
A long story short, the need to work and bring some money into a largely self employed household, and a personal exclusion from government support (because of my part time job) has stopped me progressing and developing my creative business in the way I wanted. But I’m here, healthy and largely happy and that’s what matters right?
So I’m just stopping by to wish you all a happy Christmas in whatever form that takes and to raise a glass to 2021 being a whole lot better for everyone. Also huge thanks to all who have supported me this year, particularly those who have bought from my greetings card range or my silver jewelry.
Please remember to support your local artists or any of the many creating beautiful things and selling online. They are all small and independent business and many have had their hard worked for selling avenues closed or suspended this year.
I’m a supporter of the #justacard campaign – check out their blog here. Their unwavering support encourages people to buy ‘just a card – if everyone who stopped to browse a stall, or appreciated an artist’s work purchased a card it goes an incredibly long way to supporting an artist in their work. And we all need a greetings card right now don’t we? It’s exactly the right time to put a smile on someone else’s face.
And without any apology, an unadulterated plug, here’s my shop. It doesn’t currently support all my range, but you can see some of my jewelry or buy #justacard (though the packs of 5 are great value).
For jewelry and textile art I do undertake commissions please get in touch on 07714 216388.
