Being self employed is a bumpy ride at times. I love the flexibility in lifestyle it offers, but its a lifestyle choice and part of that is sometimes having to make choices about where I spend money – read on to see if you can help me.
3 years ago I took the decision to embark on a foundation degree in art. It’s been amazing, I’ve tried so many techniques and had to make tough decisions in terms of what equipment to invest in- I want it all!.
The end of year exhibition has come along. “Astound” takes place from the 1st June for 3 weeks at the Nicholson Art Gallery in Leek and I’ve invested in my final project “Ebb & Flow”, a study based on Britain’s coastal erosion. Its cost around £300.
I’ve produced a mini book and would love to take advantage of a short print run rather than printing individual books and I wondered if you’d like to help.
So What help do I need?
It’s quite simple. I’m crowdfunding. to raise money to fund the printing. The campaign has already had a number of generous offers and I’ve been able to print the beautiful contemporary prints that I’m hanging in the exhibition THIS WEEK – it just needs more of a push to get some momentum and time is running out.
I need help funding the initial print of books (you will be rewarded for your generosity should you support me).
I also need help getting shares of the crowdfunding link across social media.
So 4 things you can do to help:
- View my crowdfund page – read it to understand what I’m attempting.
- Donate and choose a perk as a thank you.
- Use the links on the page to share across your social media and take the time to add a personal message.
- Check out my social media, I’m promoting across linkedin, Facebook and Instagram and give me a share or two.
Many thanks in advance
Carolyn
