I love watching nature, my early morning stroll with Ziggy Dog along the canal always offers me something to observe and makes a change from people watching.
This morning I marveled at the Canada Geese. 2 families working together for the greater good. Between them, 9 goslings. For each pair of geese watching over 4 or 5 young would be a difficult task, but together they had it cornered literally, as they swam the canal. One leading, one bringing up the rear and the other two keeping the young tucked into the group.
