I don’t know where to start. This whole mad year seemed to start on March 20th when they called time on the pubs and I turned 50 at more or less the same hour given that I was born around 11.30pm.
I suppose I just want to round the year off, This is likely to be my last post of 2020 and a time to wish you a Happy Christmas.
As we head into 2021, January will be a time when many of us set goals. Many of us will have unfinished business in 2020, some of us will have achieved our dreams regardless. I’ve heard some people lose heart with their goals, Covid has been a wild card for many people forcing them to change their plans – but I urge you to be resilient. It may not be as easy or straight forward now, but keep your dreams and focus on them they will carry you through.
“ If a man knows not to which port he sails, no wind is favorable.. ” – Seneca
So choose a direction, and go for it.
Whilst we are thinking about boats, I don’t know who stated “I’m told we are all in the same boat, sailing the same storm“, and there are many variations but it seems appropriate for this time – I heard an extended version today:
“I’m told we are all in the same boat, sailing the same storm” Some have yachts, some canoes, and some are just drowning, be kind and help whoever you can“. unknown
A little kindness goes a long way don’t you think. So Merry Christmas to you all and remember I’m here if you need help with those 2021 goals. Love to you all and a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year or whatever it is you wish to celebrate. Carolyn xx
