I can’t believe it’s September already, my Neal’s Yard part of the business is gearing up for Christmas and I feel it’s important that I don’t lose sight of my 2014 goals – there really is just 3 months left
So I thought 5 top tips on making me time might be something we can all use right now.
- Acknowledge that you deserve it. Spreading ourselves too thinly can be a vain attempt at trying to keep everyone else happy. Be aware of your own needs.
- Schedule some me time in your calendar, use it for relaxation, hobbies, whatever makes you happy
- Start something new, taking on a new hobby will get you motivated.
- Listen to how often you say “yes” when you wanted to say “No” – being aware of doing this will help you say “No” more often
- Take time out and practice breathing techniques when you find yourself getting stressed.
