I can’t believe it’s September already, my Neal’s Yard part of the business is gearing up for Christmas and I feel it’s important that I don’t lose sight of my 2014 goals – there really is just 3 months left

So I thought 5 top tips on making me time might be something we can all use right now.

  1. Acknowledge that you deserve it.  Spreading ourselves too thinly can be a vain attempt at trying to keep everyone else happy.  Be aware of your own needs.
  2. Schedule some me time in your calendar, use it for relaxation, hobbies, whatever makes you happy
  3. Start something new, taking on a new hobby will get you motivated.
  4. Listen to how often you say “yes” when you wanted to say “No” – being aware of doing this will help you say “No” more often
  5. Take time out and practice breathing techniques when you find yourself getting stressed.
me time, walking, time out, to do lists, stress, pressure
