Its been 2 weeks since I posted about changing habits and I’ve tried really hard to stick to my social media rule of just bobbing online 2-3 times a day.

I am finding it really hard.  I’m promoting sleep month in my Neal’s Yard business and part of my plan is to hit twitter a bit harder than I normally do and its so easy to get distracted.  But as with all goals I’m accepting that it’s OK to lapse once in a while and treat it as just a blip.   The key is to pick yourself up and carry on.

In the last post I also talked about one small change and making lots of them.  So this week I’m going to add a new habit to change.  Its going to be about scheduling work and working with a tidy desk.  I’m a bit of a dumper.  If I cant deal with it – it just gets put on a pile.  So there will be 3 piles on my desk going forward.

  1. The stuff I intend to deal with today
  2. The stuff i will deal with this week
  3. Anything new that comes in.

On Friday the new stuff gets ditched, dealt with or diarised.
