I seem to have taken on a bit too much at the moment. The Coaching business is stable whilst both my Neal’s Yard Consultancy AND my husbands business, Brett Trafford photography are growing and needing more and more of my time. I know things will settle, however at the moment no matter how much I schedule and plan not everything is getting done and that includes the housework.
So it’s time to sit back and come up with a strategy to make sure I don’t drop any of my balls…..
- Understand your priorities – sometimes we get into the habit of doing certain things, e.g. following a particular social media strategy. It’s time to question whether I get any benefit from posting in certain groups. What are you in the habit of? Be honest and don’t be afraid to drop things that don’t make a difference to you.
- Ask for help. Draft in and pay for an expert or call in a favour where you’ve given support in the past. Perhaps its time for a cleaner?
- Take some time out. Its so easy to get bogged down in all the to do lists that things take longer than they should. Go for a walk and clear your head. Grab a coffee, rewrite your to do list, focus on the priorities then get stuck in.
